Desirable Aspect Living
Desirable living environments for houses that overlook rural landscapes, bodies of water or golf courses
Generally, properties that overlook rural, water or golf course settings command design principals that deliver grand residences with superior finishes.
The internal spaces of these houses are often large, dynamic and open, designed to take advantage of the surroundings, and have retreat areas that tend to be private and segregated.
The abundance of living area enjoyed by these homes does not, however, mean that space should be wasted, nor does it mean that the home should become less functional or that climatic and security concerns should be overlooked.
When creating the Avalon, Imagine Kit Homes incorporated a number of elements designed to fully utilise spaces within the home to create a truly desirable living environment. The Avalon has a well-defined transition from public to private space between the footpath and the home, followed by a separate secure transitional space that leads to the front door, giving the house a grand entrance. An expansive vista runs from the secured space at the front door right through to the dining and lounge areas, then to the outdoor pool and to the landscape beyond. Coupled with three-metre high ceilings, the effect is dramatic.
In other versions of this home, such as the Portifino, the ceilings throughout the entry, dining and lounge areas have been vaulted to a height of five metres, further enhancing the effect.
